Painting portraits is my most favorite pasttime. It's quite a different experience from other paintings I do. I seem to sort of connect with the subject, and it leaves me completely drained mentally after doing them, but it's a great feeling. I would love to hear fro others as to how they feel when doing portraits, whether drawing, or painting, or whatever...
