The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Agriculture here in the Mississippi Delta is a way of life for many and has been for many generations. The wide open and flat landscape lends itself to seeing some incredible sunrises and sunsets. During the winter the starlings and other blackbirds come by the thousands. This just felt like my impression of the Delta. God's beautiful handiwork is everywhere...

God gave me the talent to paint and draw. I am blessed with the ability to visualize stories, or moments in time, and then to recreate them for others to see what I saw in my mind. I have in some form or fashion painted for a living my whole life. I started out hand painting billboards as a pictorial artist (back when they were painted), and have done everything from fine art to theatrical backdrops, sets, and film and TV. I also hand painted art on furniture (for a major maufacturer) for a few years. I even did a few barns with See Rock City on them... My art focuses on what I may feel is memorable at the moment.
