A John Deere 8345R tractor is pulling a cultivator and beginning to prepare the ground for eventual planting. This is a familiar sight here in the Mississippi Delta. Farming is a major employer here.

God gave me the talent to paint and draw. I am blessed with the ability to visualize stories, or moments in time, and then to recreate them for others to see what I saw in my mind. I have in some form or fashion painted for a living my whole life. I started out hand painting billboards as a pictorial artist (back when they were painted), and have done everything from fine art to theatrical backdrops, sets, and film and TV. I also hand painted art on furniture (for a major maufacturer) for a few years. I even did a few barns with See Rock City on them... My art focuses on what I may feel is memorable at the moment. A snapshot in time, or something that may be disappearing, or maybe just an emotional moment in life. So it may be...
